frequently asked questions
What does "HEALIX" mean?
HEALIX stands for Harnessing Ecology and Art for Land and Individual Transformation. It begins with an idea: we become ancestors through what we leave behind- the land we tend, the relationships we nurture, and the things we create to outlast us. Drawing on solidarity economy principles, HEALIX impacts countries through tech-enabled creative and cultural experiences designed to regenerate people and places and stimulate hyperlocal creative and cultural economies. To HEALIX is to put that purpose into practice: design with intention, measure experiences and outcomes, and use what we learn to accelerate how we support and inspire communities towards adaptation and resilience.

HEALIX is powered by Infinity Village Lab with support from local and global partners. Together, we're a capacity-building movement built on one thesis: storytelling is infrastructure. This collective of artists, scientists, technologists, community, and youth leaders are convicted that storytelling has always and continues to offer the most effective pathways for inspiring community action. Our focus is regenerative landscape and mental wellbeing.
